Music and Recording Studio
Champions Training Centre features it's own music recording studio, equipped with state of the art technology. Our studio recording creates skaters programs using top of the line computer software system. We produce a CD recording for the skaters' use. We also provide competitive CD's. Our recording technicians are highly trained to provide our clients with the finest music recording. We also provide stock programs which can be rented out for the year to young aspiring skaters who do not yet need a custom program.
Dressmaking
One of the most important aspects of competition is the appearance of the athlete.
"You never get a second chance to make a first impression"
Custom costuming is available to all skaters that train at the Champions Training Centre. The design, style, color, trim, etc. is based on the theme of choreography and in total concert with the music. Personal likes and dislikes play a very small role.
We have a wide range of fabrics and colors in stock, as well as trim and beading.
We offer a full dressmaking service at our Training Centre.
Skate Sharpening
The Champions Training Centre offers a full range of up-to-date skate equipment services. We offer quality skate sharpening and blade mounting with personalized attention to the best grind for the skater for greater control over the edges.
The blade mounting equipment assures accuracy and straightness with an on-ice assessment verifying the positioning of the blades. We offer a flexible sharpening schedule making it possible to have sharpening done at the most beneficial of times.
From boot punching and hook replacement to boot plugging we offer a complete service allowing the skater less downtime and more quality time in day-to-day training.
We also have a portable skate sharpener and all the necessary tools that we can take to competitions so that we can make fast, accurate repairs and sharpening in emergency situations.
Harness Lessons
Champions Training Centre uses a portable jump harness to assist skaters in learning new jumps. The portable jump harness enables the skater to learn the jump at proper speed and ice coverage due to the fact that the harness is hand held rather than a fixed attachment to the ceiling of the building. The portable jump harness helps the skater with proper feeling throughout a jump, while eliminating the fear of a new jump.
