The Champions Training Centre is proud to offer a variety of skating programs at the Karl Homuth Arena, Preston Memorial Auditorium and Hespeler Memorial Arena. Skating lessons are offered to families in the Cambridge (Galt, Hespeler, Preston) Kitchener-Waterloo, Ayr and Guelph areas plus other regions. Look under Programs and Registration for information about the Learn to Skate, Canskate and Power/Hockey Skills programs. The Spring forms are now available. Check out our non-expensive learn to skate programs! Just click onto our Registration Icon (above) for more information! These programs are offered at the Hespeler Memorial Arena.
Power Plus Program:
We are offering a Spring PLUS Power Program during March Break. It will be held at the Preston Auditorium between March 16 to 20, 2015. To Register for this program, please visit our Registration Webpage.

Learn to Skate with CanSkate!
Learn from the Pros:
All of our coaches are certified and are part of the Skate Canada Association. CanSkate features group lessons led by a National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) certified professional coach. Professional coaches are assisted by trained Program AssistantsThe Fun Way to Learn, CanSkate is Skate Canada's flagship learn-to-skate program the only national program of it's kind designed for beginners of all ages.
Developed by experts to teach the fundamentals of skating in a progressive and sequential manner, CanSkate focuses on fun, participation and basic skills development. Participants earn badges and other incentives as they learn fundamental skating skills.
Learn at Your Own Pace
CanSkate lets skaters progress at their own pace. Coaches make sessions active using teaching aids, music and a wide variety of activities that create a fun environment and promote learning.
Your First Step on the Ice
CanSkate is the feeder program to all other Skate Canada skating programs. It is presented by BMO Financial Group, reflecting their commitment to grassroots development.
